Wallingford, CT - The CCB is pleased to announce the development of a new recertification program for all CCB credentials which will replace the current recertification program beginning in October 2010. The new program will offer greater flexibility for certified professionals allowing individuals to choose their recertification period (1, 2 or 3 years). All credentials will have annual recertification educational standards established and an annual fee with discounts offered to those that choose to complete the recertification process for 2 or 3 years. The program was developed based upon extensive feedback offered from CCB certified professionals and a comprehensive review of the current practices of boards from around the country. The new program will apply to all individuals with a renewal date of October 1, 2010 and beyond.
